| Salutations. My name is Chris, and as I type this, I am working my way out of high school and into Rutgers University. I plan on majoring in Media Arts, with a minor in English Literature as I have a fondness for writing, both poetry and story. My main project at the moment is a novel I am writing entitled 'The End of Days, Rise of Hope'. Its a fantasy book with a little sci-fi dashed in here and there wherein...well, if I tell you now, no one will read it. In addition to my writing, I have been drawing and painting since I was six years old, and I'm smug enough to like showing off my work...but sadly I can't find anyone who can repair my 'ancient' scanner, and my camera has been malfunctioning lately...so I cannot upload my visual pieces to DeviantArt, but I wish I could. My sketches are mostly inhuman with human elements (creatures with human-shapes) such as the partly-human succubus or fallen angel. My passion though is for mythological creatures of Greek (and occassional Medieval) origin, such as the Cerberus or even a Leviathan. As of recent weeks, I stopped just making my illustrations black and white and began using a pack of colored pencils to add color to my work...most of the time. I rarely paint now, and my drawings are often just of material significant to my novel considering the importance of hastening my book's completion...I may have a potential publishing offer as early as February of 2010. My first book, a sci-fi/government conspiracy thriller crashed and burned all along the East Coast (I couldn't even pay companies to publish it), so I'm hoping my second book does better. I'm a single Italian-American male and I'm currently unemployed as I am trying to use all my free time to work on my novel (if I'm wasting time to type this here, you can see how well that's working). I enjoy playing rock and metal on my Jackson Warrior electric guitar and I loved dressing in my combat boots and black trench coat (yet I am not a goth), but those personal effects have been, shall we say, legally displaced. I'm a straight A student, but after a major fight with one of my best female friends back in 2008, I only have one friend in the real world...But alteast he's stuck with me since kindergarten: Luck of the Irish, eh? So, I live a complicated life, with many details I'm not at liberty to discuss here, but rest be assured, I only have the best of intentions as a member of this community. |

Also, just because I'm a major on FIR it doesn't mean I only do female expansion. I also do science fiction, fantasy, anime, the whole SHABANGACLABANGO of cartoons, except for normal people, doing that's just creepy.....Anyway I hope I am acepted by all youse guyses and maybe I'll have my scanner feature functional soon enough to post some o' my own work.
